Make a Play in a Day
This course takes participants through the process of staging a play, either working with a pre-assigned script or creating one during the session.

Delegates can experience playing characters different from themselves, thus taking them out of their usual world into another, giving insights into different social environments or ages.

Participants are responsible for all aspects of the production such as artwork, music, costume etc. This session is enjoyable as well as concentrated, and incorporates imaginative exercises and improvisation in teamwork based on the ensemble principle.

This course is excellent for building confidence as well as presenting challenges. Vocal work and movement is built into the session, but the focus is on fun as well as the disciplines we observe in the theatre, such as commitment, punctuality, concentration, and working with imagination in a non-judgemental environment.
