9.30 –10.30  Introductory exercises designed to break the ice and inform us all about what the client wants from the course specifically and also builds a picture of the clients’ experience or lack of it. Their strengths and weaknesses. It will include an intro to the course and to the trainers 

10.30 – 11.00  Physical warm up including introduction to breathing and relaxation techniques. Voice production and articulation. The basics of  Media awareness and Communication skills.

11.15 – 13.00  Being Interviewed. Short exercise. What does the Interviewer want. Play some examples. Using notes. What to include what to leave out. How to take control. Briefing on afternoon exercise

14.00 –14.30  Brief warm up and discussion of the morning. 

14.30 – 16.30 Being interviewed. Each client will be videoed and recorded being interviewed on a subject of their choosing. Feedback and second try to improve. This is the core of the day and a lot of attention will be given to this practical exercise

16.30 – 17.30 Playback of videos. Further questions and exercises  and evaluation of the day. Click here to read about Alec Sabin
