Mark is president of Effective Communication in Business and the creator of a totally unique system of training for public speakers, which encompasses the world’s fastest and most practical techniques for confident and influential presentation – used now by top business, political and entertainment performers across the globe.

Trained in the ground breaking gesture control methods of Jaques Lecoq’s renowned Laboratory of Movement Study, Paris, Mark has also worked extensively with the leading practitioners of the psychology of movement system developed by Rudolph Laban. He has studied vocal training with such international teachers as The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Cecily Berry, and has gone on to develop his own unique physical and vocal communication training model, also inspired by the pioneer of modern movement analysis Etienne Decroux, as well as the founder of modern clinical hypnosis, Milton H. Ericson. Considered one of Great Britain’s most expert performance trainers, Mark has a solid track record of lecturing regularly at some of the UK’s top academies including the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and universities including Oxford and Cambridge.

A highly distinguished performer himself, Mark tours internationally, appearing regularly in London England’s West End, and he is featured in several Hollywood movies including The Lord of the Rings. Producing and directing entertainment across Europe and North America, his work has been nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award, and won The Montrose Rose and British TV awards. Mark is fortunate to have been part of some of the world’s most celebrated TV commercials, winning awards from Cannes Film Festival and The Advertising Club of New York; as such, Mark has performed regularly both live and recorded in front of millions internationally.

With his diverse and rich training and performance background, Mark is now at the forefront of both the European and North American business and performance training communities. His continuing experience in corporate communications includes his current position as Creative Director at Cameron Thomson Group, a leading international provider of business development solutions, and lecturer at Ogilvy University, the training syllabus for Ogilvy & Mather Advertising.
