Dr Luke Dixon is a noted theatre director, teacher and trainer of actors.
Luke’s doctoral research was in the psychology of acting, and it is
this research that he applies in his work in the corporate sector. He
is in demand around the world and in the last twelve months has run
workshops in the USA, South Africa, Kosovo and across Europe.
He has published widely on that subject, as well as multi-lingual and
multi-cultural performance and the nature of acting. His book, The Perfect
Performer, was published by Methuen in 2003.
As a director he is internationally known for his innovative productions
of Shakespeare and his site-specific performances. His productions for
the international touring group theatre nomad have been seen around
the world from the Rocky Mountains to the plains of Siberia and the
deserts of Southern Africa.
