The key skill in improvising is listening - ACTIVE LISTENING - not only hearing what has been said but making it clear by our own actions that we have heard and understood. In this course delegates gain a practical experience of how improvisation works as a metaphor for Creative Leadership. Both involve:
- Being adaptable and flexible
- Building on the experience of team members
- Shifting responsibility within the team
- Spotting opportunities and exploiting them
- Creating new opportunities and working with new partners
- Satisfying customers
The Actors Centre is pleased to offer this course with Neil Mullarkey, co-founder of Britain's top improvisation troupe, THE COMEDY STORE PLAYERS, with years of experience in applying the principles of improvisation to leadership workshops in the commercial sector.
